Basic equipment is provided. All experience levels are welcome.

We’re a casual, community-centered group playing a slower, lower-impact version of soccer. We play for movement, connection, and fun—not competition. No soccer experience needed.

FIELD CAPACITY & RSVPS
This session has limited space so we can keep play safe, spacious, and enjoyable. Please RSVP by the evening before when possible, and update your RSVP if your plans change.

If Meetup shows the event as full, you’re still welcome to come. We’ll do our best to include everyone, make teams based on who is present, and use rotating games as needed.

RULES: NO NO LOW SLOW
Our rules are simple:
No running.
No contact.
Low balls.
Slow pace.

NO RUNNING
Always walk, whether you have the ball or not. Keep at least one foot on the ground.

NO CONTACT
No tackling, tripping, leaning, charging, or physical pressure. Play the ball, not the body.

LOW BALLS
Keep passes and shots below head height. Aim for skill, control, and placement—not power.

SLOW PACE
Move slower than you think you need to. Focus on calm possession, precision passing, and control.

SAFETY & PARTICIPATION
Walking soccer is a recreational activity. We play at a slower pace and follow non-contact rules, but physical activity always carries some risk, including falls, accidental contact, and injury.

Please make your own decision about whether you are able to play safely that day. Follow the rules and organizer guidance, and let an organizer know about any injury, unsafe condition, or concern during play.

COST
WSA events are pay what you can. A suggested contribution is $10 per session, which helps cover equipment, field costs, and keeping the group going. No one is turned away for inability to contribute.
