Chgo Outerbelt Trail Wilson south to Belmont Harbor Lakeside

Back on the Outerbelt Trail as we begin the walk down the Lake Front Trail. My favorite part of the trail. Over the next several weeks we will walk all the way south along or near the lakefront to Calumet Park on the far South Side.
We meet at the paid parking lot on 4600 N Jean Baptiste Pointe du Sable Lake Shore Dr, Chicago, IL 60640 Go to the North Side of the parking lot. This is a paid parking lot. Cost appears to be about $10.00 for 4 hours. I intend to get there about 8:30 and hopefully find a free parking space on Simonds Dr. There is free parking along that street and also Lawrence Ave and WIlson. You can check Spot Angel for clarification where there MAY BE free parking

Looks like you exit LSD at Wilson and head east to the entrance of the parking lot. Park at the North end of the parking lot.

Lunch - There are probably 100 restaurants within 2 miles of where we will be. Being a life-long South Sider/Southwest suburbanite I am open to any suggestions on where to eat realizing that parking will be an issue. One option is the clocktower cafe which we will be passing on the walk..
Also, The Dock at Montrose Beach which we will also be passing on the walk.
