Chgo Outerbelt Trail Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum to Oak Street Beach

Back on the Outerbelt Trail we meet in front of the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. Note there is free parking along Cannon and Stockton Dr.
We head East to the Lakefront Trail and head South. We pass North St Beach and the Castaways Beach Club. we walk out on the North Avenue Beach Pier. Continuing South we pass the Lincoln Park - Chess Pavilion. We walk past Oak St Beach and continue a little then turn back to the underpass under Lake Shore Dr. Walk to Rush St and head North to N State Parkway. We enter Lincoln Park. Among sites we'll see - Abraham Lincoln Statue, Fountain Girl Statue, Benjamin Franklin Monument, the Lemon Tree, Ulysses S. Grant Monument, Peoples Gas Pavilion (The Honeycomb). We'll walk through the zoo and finally the Lincoln Park Conservatory. I have a group ticket for 12 people to get into the conservatory good for admission until 11;45. Note that it is free to get in but they suggest a donation.

Lunch: There are a couple of places to eat within Lincoln Park Zoo and an Ice Cream place there also.
