Chgo Outerbelt trail from 47th and Du Sable Lake Shore Drive

We will meet at J & J's Fish & Chicken 1400 E 47th St Unit J, Chicago, IL 60653.
There is on street parking on in the neighborhood - 47th St, 48th ST Greenwood Ave, Woodlawn. Check all signs on the street you are parking on. Don't want any tickets or tows.
We cross under Lake Shore Drive and head South on the Lakefront trail. If we're lucky we will catch a glimpse of the wreck of the silver spray that sank in 1914. We continue south on the Lakefront Trail we walk past Promontory Point. There is a field house that is available to rent for weddings and other events. George Lucas famously held his 2013 wedding celebration to Mellody Hobson at "The Point"
On the west aide of Promontory Point is the Wallach Fountain. donated by David Wallach with water fountains for both "Man and Beast" We head a little more South to the entrance of Jackson Park Outer Harbor. We turn back.
