Chicgo Outerbelt Trail - South Chicago

Going to be nippy so dress accordingly.
This walk takes us through the most industrial part of the Outerbelt Trail the Southeast Side.
We'll see the Calumet River and then a little of the harbor areas. During the walk we'll pass a tied house. We'll stop and talk about the history of tied houses in Chicago. Next up Calumet Park which includes a Coast Guard station. Then past the well worn mural about the Blues Brothers and the military tank on the corner. Then walk to another bridge for a different angle of the Calumet River. Then head back to the cars using Commercial Ave.
