Chatam Walk

We will meet at McDonalds on 7900 S Martin Luther King Drive. Parking in the neighborhood should be easy to find and free.

On this walk we will go past the Garlow Homes , a stretch of small homes built adjacent to alleys, giving them unusually large front yards. We will also take a look at the Garden Homes District, a group of homes modeled on quaint English houses. Only 100 of the original 175 remain. Because I respect all belief systems, I will hesitantly point out Cubs Hall of Famer Ernie Banks' home.
