Walking the Outerbelt Trail - Lake Katherine

We meet at Lake Katherine in Palos Heights. Take the Cal Sag Rd (College Dr) to 76th Ave and turn North. Turn right on Lake Katherine Dr and park in the main parking lot. This is one of my favorite walks and I come here often. There are water falls, a trail around the lake and then we walk to Harlem Ave, cross the street and check out the Metropolitan Water District Off Stream Aeration Pool. Doesn't sound very nice but it is very pretty with more waterfalls, and a great view of the Cal Sag Channel. We will continue the walk on the Cal Sag trail to get to the distance
