Ryerson(https://www.lcfpd.org/ryerson) is one of my favorite forest preserve around here for hiking, bird photography and fall colors. It has been a year since we did it last and is a good time to revisit it.

The meeting point will be the parking lot at end of the road and not the main parking lot -- you will need to go straight at the stop sign: https://maps.app.goo.gl/585mCfQBkpYhebc89

Waterproof boots with good traction are highly recommended. You will probably need bug spray as well.

The plan is to complete the outer loop first going left from the parking lot and walking almost all the inner trails as indicated by the arrows in the attached trail map. The total distance covered should be around 6 miles.
