Walking the Outerbelt Trail-Forest Home Cemetery

We meet at the Veterans Field at Park District of Forest Park. Heading West we pass the 16" Softball Hall of Fame which, unfortunately is closed on Sunday. Turning South we enter Forest Home Cemetery Which has been around since the mid 1800's. Home to the Druid Monument and the
Haymarket Martyrs' Monument. Leaving the cemetery we head North on Des Plaines Ave to Van Buren and pass the
Forest Park CTA Blue Line Railyard. Next we walk to Madison Ave and then west to the Des Plaines River. Turn Back.
