Walking Together: Nature, Wellness & Connection

Details
Join us for a gentle, soul-refreshing walk through the peaceful trails of Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary. We’ll walk approximately 2.5 to 3 miles, starting from the Nature Center and following a scenic loop: Woodchuck Trail → Squirrel Trail → Raccoon Trail, returning to where we began.
This is your invitation to move your body, breathe deeply, and connect — with yourself, others, and the natural world.
🕊️ Please help us honor the sanctuary and its rules:
- No pets
- Do not disturb plants or animals
- Stay on marked trails
- No collecting or harvesting
- No bikes or motorized vehicles
- No walking or snowshoeing on groomed ski tracks
- No alcohol or smoking
- Trail gates close at 4:30 p.m.
📍Meeting Point:
We’ll gather between 10:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in front of the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary Nature Center.
Address: 1660 E Shore Drive, Green Bay, WI 54302
Look for me in a reflective vest — I’ll be your host and guide for the walk.
We’ll head out at 11:00 a.m. or shortly after once everyone is ready.
👟 What to Bring:
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Water or something to stay hydrated
- Optional: layers for the weather, a light snack, walking stick, or anything that helps you feel at ease outdoors
This is a walk for wellness, reflection, and community. Come as you are — open-hearted, curious, or simply needing a little fresh air and connection. We’ll walk gently and leave only footprints. 🌱
