Join Walking with Grace for outdoor adventures in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, Our faith-based support group combines walking, hiking, camping, and more in stunning natural settings. Connect with like-minded outdoor lovers for short walks, longer day trips to the mountains, hiking, rafting, and exploring plants, animals, and outdoor skills. Improve your fitness and deepen your connection to nature with our nature walks and outdoor fitness events. Experience the joy of outdoor exploration and personal growth with Walking with Grace. Point Nepean Information Centre, Ochiltree Road, Portsea VIC 3944, AU## 🌊 Point Nepean Coastal Walk
Step into history and soak up stunning coastal views on this relaxed 6–7 km walk. We’ll begin at the Quarantine Station, wander past preserved buildings and eerie tunnels, then enjoy sweeping panoramas from Cheviot Hill Lookout before finishing at Fort Nepean.

- Historic sights – preserved buildings at the Quarantine Station and atmospheric military tunnels at Fort Nepean.
- Spectacular views – sweeping panoramas from Cheviot Hill Lookout, where Port Phillip Bay meets the wild ocean

Australia Day Camping and hiking South Gippsland
The Quarries Campground, George Creek Streamside Reserve, 365 Freestone Creek Rd, IC 3860, Briagolong, AUBack again by popular demand. We revisit Bluepool for Australia Day: With rope swings, cliff jumping, wild swimming, day walks, and creeks to explore and camp fires allowed (in the fire pits) This is one of our favorite places to visit with a flat campsite with toilets.
## 🏕️ Briagalong Blue Pool – Quarries Campground Itinerary
Duration: Friday–Monday | Base camp: The Quarries Campground
### Day 1 – Friday (Arrival & Campfire Night)
- Afternoon
- Arrive at The Quarries Campground.
- Set up tents, cooking gear, and explore the campground facilities.
- Short stroll to orient yourself with the Blue Pool swimming spot.
- Evening
- Cook dinner over the campfire.
- Relax with stargazing and storytelling around the fire.
### Day 2 – Saturday (River Exploration & Swimming)
- Morning
- Breakfast at camp.
- Walk down to the Blue Pool (easy access from Quarries Campground).
- Explore the river gorge: rock-hopping, creek walks, spotting wildlife.
- Afternoon
- Swimming at the Blue Pool — rope swings, cliff jumps, or lounging by the water.
- Picnic lunch by the river.
- Evening
- Return to camp for dinner.
- Campfire games or music.
### Day 3 – Sunday (Hiking & Adventure)
- Morning
- Early breakfast.
- Hike to The Bluff (short but steep climb, panoramic views).
- Continue to Peregrine Lookout Trail (1-hour return, chance to see falcons).
- Afternoon
- Packed lunch on the trail or back at camp.
- Optional: explore upstream from the Blue Pool gorge for quieter swimming spots.
- Evening
- Campfire cooking (marshmallows, damper, foil packet meals).
- Share highlights of the trip so far.
### Day 4 – Monday (Wind Down & Departure)
- Morning
- Leisurely breakfast.
- Final swim at the Blue Pool or short walk along the river.
- Afternoon
- Pack up camp.
- Depart mid-afternoon for a relaxed drive home.
