# 📍 Meeting Point
UPDATED - Meet at the train in the playground at Marie Wallace Bayswater Park in Bayswater.
Plenty of parking at the park or on King Street.
Better facilities also (toilets, barbecues, tables and chairs, etc) and only a few hundred metres from Bayswater train station.
I had intended for us to meet at Liverpool Road Retarding Basin but there is not a lot of parking available there.

# 🥾 About This Walk
The plan is to walk the Dandenong Creek Trail in 8 stages of around 10-15km’s (5 to 7.5 km's out and then back to the start).
This will be a relaxed, social walk beside the creek, with time to enjoy nature and connect with others. Everyone is welcome — whether you’re building fitness, seeking community, or simply wanting a peaceful moment outdoors.

Duration: 2 to 3 hours
# 🎒 What to Bring
Water, snacks, weather‑appropriate clothing, comfortable shoes, a Dad joke, sunscreen/hat, and any personal items you need.

We hike in all conditions unless they become unsafe. If strong winds, storms, extreme heat, or track closures arise, we may adjust or postpone the walk.

This is a social, community‑led outing, not a guided or professionally supervised activity. By attending, you accept responsibility for your own safety and wellbeing.
The route may include uneven ground, water crossings, and natural hazards. Please consider your fitness and bring suitable gear.
Our volunteers carry first aid, an emergency radio, and satellite communication devices, but these are not a substitute for personal preparedness.
