A 21-km/13-mile walk that starts with a whistle stop tour of the most impressive Goodrich Castle, before hiking through Symonds Yat in The Forest of Dean, timed (well, hopefully) to enjoy its autumnal colour show for a bit of 'leaf peeping', if you will.

Boasting stunning views of the valley and the river Wye, which includes walking past the TV show Sex Education's picturesque house, nestled in the hillside.

Along the route is King Arthur's Cave, which some say played a part in the early legend of King Vortigern, a British King who fought the invading Anglo-Saxons.

This event is a little longer than usual to allow for some time in the castle.

⚠️Please note that this route involves a wire rope bridge - see photos for reference- and this will be a recce route, meaning I have not explored it yet, I cannot vouch for its difficulty or terrain, and the end time is approx. If you are uncomfortable with this, please do not attend on this occasion. ⚠️
