Gilfach Goch Windfarm & Cwmogwr Forest Walk

A stunning 16-km/10-mile hike through the wind farm east of Gilfach and back through the woodland to the south. This involves a good climb up to the site and another stiff climb back up on the other side but don't stress, we always wait for anyone falling behind.

Some parts were uneven under foot last time and with mountain roads were a little rocky that some members struggled with. If this sounds like a concern then please invest in a pair of good hiking poles.

We'll briefly stop for 20 as we usually do, so bring a pad to sit on and a packed lunch or snacks if you'd like to join me for a excellent Sunday roast at The Castell Mynach, at 430pm.
