Llyn-y-Fan Fach & Llyn-y-Fan Fawr

One of my favourites. Considered one of the best hikes in Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), taking you up the Carmarthen Fans (Bannau Sir Gaer), visiting the peaks of Waun Lefrith, Picws Du, Fan Foel, and Fan Brycheiniog. 15-km/9-miles

This area boasts breathtaking views, serene lakes and mountains. The trail, starts from the Fforest Fawr car park, gradually ascending, to the top and around the lakes, Llyn-y-Fan Fach and Llyn-y-Fan Fawr.

Parking can be tricky, and it's a while away so please consider car sharing.
