Hello everyone,
I hope you’re all well! We will kick off this group’s activities with a gentle stroll by Furzton Lake at 3 PM on Easter Sunday.
Meeting Point:
We'll gather outside the front of Sul Lago restaurant, near the main car park.
Walk Details:
We’ll take a leisurely stroll by Furzton Lake; this won’t be a complete loop around the lake. I’ll check in with everyone to see what pace works for you and am happy to take breaks as needed. Feel free to bring a carer or a friend.
Accessibility Information for Furzton Lake
- Amenities: Café, restaurant, and parkland available.
- Accessible Entrance: Slight ramp/slope off Watling Street.
- Facilities:
- Accessible toilet for disabled users and standard toilets.
- Accessible toilet located approximately 3m from the café/restaurant entrance.
- Seating: Benches and picnic tables available, with space for wheelchair users.
- Information Boards: Large map and information board in the car park.
Parking at Sul Lago
- Car Park Details:
- Height restriction barrier (max height 190 cm).
- Open-air tarmac surface parking.
- Free parking for all users.
- 4 designated Blue Badge parking bays (320 cm x 500 cm), nearest bay is 25m from the restaurant entrance.
- No parent-and-child bays or designated drop-off point.

Fee Information
There is a £2 fee for this event, applicable only to the main participant. This is to help cover expenses. There is no charge for carers, family members, or friends accompanying them.
**Optional Meal/Coffees After Our Walk
I’ve booked a table for 8 people at 4 PM at Sul Lago restaurant, and joining is optional. If you’re a wheelchair user, please let me know so I can arrange personalised seating.
