“Technical data”:
• Difficulty: Generally T2 or T3
• Highest point: 2060 m
• Lowest point: 1100 m
• Distance: 16.8 km (Total length, but may be shortend by taking the cable car down to Lenk, last cablecar at 5 pm)
• Ascend: 840 m
• Descend: 990 m
• Duration: 6h hiking time plus some time (ca. 1.5 h) for breaks and photos
Meeting point and start: Lauenen bei Gstaad, Moos
End Point: Lenk, Talstation Betelberg
Please bring the usual hiking equipment:
- backpack with lunch and and something to drink
- good, comfortable hiking boots
- Sunsceen and sunglasses
- maybe Tick spray
- hiking clothes acorrding to the weather, maybe a rain jacket and/ or an umbrella (always be prepared for rain)
- hiking poles, if that is something you are feeling more comfortable with
