Stechelberg loop in the Jungfrau Region

Let’s take advantage of the good weather forecast to explore the scenic Jungfrau region starting from the Stechelberg Hotel and returning to the same point.

Although the hike is a T2 hike, it has a T3 component and is not suitable to beginner hikers and requires a reasonable level of fitness. Hiking boots and enough supply of water is recommended.

. Distance: just over 10 kms
. Elevation gain: 875m up and down,
. Duration: it is advertised as a 4 hours hike but there will be some breaks to enjoy the sights and photo taking,
. Bring some food, sandwiches etc for a picnic.
. Finally bring your smile and spirits with you.

We are also possibly planning for a social dinner afterwards (venue to be confirmed later) for the people who want.

We will take the train 7.04 train at the Bern station to arrive at Stechelberg Hotel at 8:55.
