Hi all! I recently took over this group and am super new to running one! I live in P.H., but happy to travel for a good movie! I have found that as you get older, it can be challenging to meet new people. I am keeping this group as a movie & dining club that will allow people to meet and socialize. I would also love a couple of co-hosts if possible!
The general idea: we would go to the movies 1-2 times a month and then go out to brunch/lunch/ dinner or drinks afterwards. It’s a great way to meet people and you’ll easily have something to discuss.
Please share with me your movie preferences and if there is a restaurant you like or are excited to try!
I intend to plan movies in Pleasant Hill,Concord and Walnut Creek.

Rosemary's Baby is a 1968 American psychological horror film written and directed by Roman Polanski, based on Ira Levin's 1967 novel. The film stars Mia Farrow as the titular Rosemary, a newlywed living in Manhattan who becomes pregnant, but soon begins to suspect that her neighbors have sinister intentions regarding her and her baby. The film's supporting cast includes John Cassavetes, Ruth Gordon, Sidney Blackmer, Maurice Evans, Ralph Bellamy, Patsy Kelly, Angela Dorian, and Charles Grodin in his feature film debut.

Orinda Theater, 4 Orinda Theatre Squar, Orinda, CA, USOn the 3rd Thursday of each month Orinda theater offers a free movie at 6:30pm. Admission is free and you don't need tickets. Lets meet in front of the theater at 6:15 so we can sit together (I'll be holding a sign with our meetup group name). After the movie we can over to The Fourth Bore Taproom and grill for food, drinks and socialization.
