📚 Book Discussion & New Friends: The Book of Alchemy by Suleika Juleoud

Details

Perfect opportunity to make new friends and connect with like-minded people! 📚 I recently started reading The Book of Alchemy by Suleika Juleoud and thought it would be meaningful to host a one-time book discussion for anyone else reading it or curious about it.

This book is a collection of essays, but it's more than that—it's an invitation to start (or deepen) your journaling practice. Each chapter includes a prompt, making the experience both reflective and interactive. While the essays can stand alone, the book is meant to be read as a whole, with each piece building toward the larger creative process it's guiding you through.

And the fact that I keep getting told over and over again to journal, but I've never known either how to start or keep the practice going 😅. Intro down and first chapter in I grabbed a notebook ✍🏽~

Great for anyone new in town looking to meet new people or wanting to build friendships through shared interests! If you're reading along or have completed the book, join us for an open, thoughtful conversation. You're welcome to share what stood out to you—whether it's a theme, a journaling prompt, or something the book inspired you to write or reflect on. No pressure to share anything personal—just come curious. 🤝✨

This isn't a recurring book club, just a one-time event for this book. If there's a book you'd love to share and discuss with others, feel free to let me know—I'm happy to help you set up your own one-time book discussion event for you to host.

⚠️ Please note: This is a private event for members of this Meetup group who RSVP in advance.
For safety and group flow, walk-ins and guests who are not on the RSVP list will not be able to join the event.
We love meeting new people — just make sure to RSVP through the Meetup group ahead of time so we know you're coming!
