About Our Community

Friends Beyond Boston – Waltham Social (20s–40s) is a local community built around genuine connection, small events, and welcoming spaces where people can actually get to know each other.

We put a lot of care into creating a friendly, intentional environment, both at events and between them.

We’re a community-led group, which means members are welcome (never required) to host or cohost simple events with support, it’s how we keep things fun, varied, and shaped by the people who make this community special.

We’re also slowly moving to our new home on Heylo, where members can stay connected more easily.

About this event:

Hoping to connect with other Bi+ people over coffee and conversation?

Join us for a relaxed and friendly coffee social in Waltham. This edition of our popular series is for anyone who identifies under the Bi+ umbrella — including bisexual, pansexual, fluid, queer-identified, unlabeled, questioning, and anyone who experiences attraction to more than one gender (M-spec identities) and is for anyone looking to connect in community with others who get it.

All LGBTQ+ folks are welcome as long as they support Bi+ inclusion and understand that this space is Bi+-centered.

This event is intended as a bi-centered, queer-welcoming space. Because bi-erasure and biphobia are common issues in broader queer spaces, we maintain a clear zero-tolerance policy for any bi-erasing or biphobic comments to ensure this remains a safe, supportive environment for everyone. This is in line with our group’s general respect and inclusion guidelines.

Whether you're out and proud, quietly exploring, or still figuring things out, you’re welcome here.

We'll gather for casual conversation, friendship, and connection in a cozy, community-oriented environment. Show up as you are, this event is about warmth, belonging, and meeting others who truly understand the Bi+ experience.

The event is listed for one hour because that’s the time I can usually commit to as the host, but we almost always stay longer, myself included.

Feel free to join a little later if needed and stay as long as you'd like to chat and connect.

📍 Parking Info: There's a public garage just a 2-minute walk away, called the Central Square Parking Deck, which is free on Sundays.
