About Our Community
Friends Beyond Boston – Waltham Social (20s–40s) is a local community built around genuine connection, small events, and welcoming spaces where people can actually get to know each other.
This is a community-led group. Members are welcome (never required) to host or co-host simple events with support, or help out behind the scenes, it’s how we keep things fun, varied, and shaped by the people who make this community special.
We put a lot of care into creating a friendly, intentional environment, both at events and between them.

About this event:
New in town or just looking to meet new people? Join me for a small group early lunch (just 6 of us!) at one of my favorite hidden gems in Waltham—a small no-frills hole-in-the-wall spot serving authentic Guatemalan & Mexican food.
We're meeting early to snag a table before the rush, and keeping it intimate so you can actually have real conversations and build friendships.
I stumbled on this gem last year and it's become one of my go-to's for bringing people together. Expect incredible tamales, pupusas, empanadas, tacos, and more. And for those who've had authentic Guatemalan or Mexican food before, this place is the real deal.
The horchata is so good I never leave without grabbing a cup to go (and yes, I've seen people order a gallon to take home 😂).
Perfect if you're new in town, exploring new restaurants, or just want to build friendships in a relaxed, no-pressure setting. Can't wait to meet you there! 🌮
