About Our Community

Friends Beyond Boston – Waltham Social (20s–40s) is a local community built around genuine connection, small events, and welcoming spaces where people can actually get to know each other.

We put a lot of care into creating a friendly, intentional environment, both at events and between them.

We’re a member-led group, which means members are welcome (never required) to host or cohost simple events with support, it’s how we keep things fun, varied, and shaped by the people who make this community special.

New in town? Looking to meet new people who also want to spend time outside? Let's do a chill Sunday picnic brunch at the commons before it gets too hot ☀️

Bring something easy to eat for yourself, sharing is encouraged in the spirit of the group, but totally optional.
Keep it simple. Blanket or chair recommended.

Also feel free to bring whatever makes a picnic feel right for you, a book, that knitting project, a deck of cards, whatever🌿

We keep it small so you can actually meet new people without feeling lost in a crowd. Perfect if you're looking to try new things, spend time outside, or just connect with good people.

Parking: Aside from street parking, some lots are: Central Square Parking Lot, Embassy Lot, Crescent St Lot, Spruce St Lot, Walnut and Chestnut St Lots (there are many more close to the Waltham Common)

This is a private event for members of this community group who RSVP in advance through Heylo or Meetup.

For safety and group flow, walk-ins and guests who are not on the RSVP list will not be able to join the event.
