Seeking Event Organizers – Host or Cohost, Even Just Once!

Hi everyone!

I’d love to offer more events and/or keep up the pace and provide event variety, but I need your help! You don’t have to commit long-term—just hosting or cohosting one event would make a real difference. 🙌

✅ Interested in Hosting?
If you’d like to organize and lead your own event, that’s amazing! You don’t need tons of experience—just a willingness to help create a fun, welcoming space for others.

To host, you must:

• Be an official member (not on trial)
• Have attended at least 3 events to get a feel for how the group works
• Be open to cohosting at least once before hosting solo
• Be friendly, communicative, and aligned with the group’s values of friendship and community
• Help maintain a welcoming and safe atmosphere

You can pick a simple idea—coffee meetup, drinks, hike, a casual dinner—or I can suggest one if you don't want to plan one! I’ll also guide you through everything and support you as needed.

🤝 Prefer to Cohost?
Cohosting is just as valuable as hosting, and there are lots of ways to help!

Cohosting could include:

• Playing host if I have to leave early (like at coffee socials)
• Greeting members and making them feel welcome
• Assisting with event setup, RSVP check-in, or promoting events online
• Helping behind the scenes—scouting restaurants, reaching out to venues, or supporting logistics

Cohosting doesn’t mean you have to do all of these—there are various ways to help, and you get to choose what works best for you.
Any of these would be a huge help to me and the group!

P.S. The Zoom link is available, but I won’t be there unless we’ve scheduled a time to chat. I usually offer it to answer any questions you may have and to get a better sense if the role is a good fit.
