JOIN US SUNDAY, MARCH 1 as our annual Valentine’s dance returns with the same welcoming floor, beautiful waltzes, and a relaxed Sunday afternoon atmosphere you know and love.
You are welcome to bring your favorite finger foods or desserts to share.
Join us for BEYOND BASIC WALTZ lesson @ 2:30 – 3:30
dancing 3:30 to 5:30
You can expect plenty of social waltz (our home base), along with a mix of foxtrot, swing, tango, rumba, and cha cha — all woven together in that easy WaltzPlay flow. No pressure, no performance, just shared steps and good music.
We dance the first Sunday of every month, at First Existentialist Church of Atlanta (affectionally known as ‘The E-Church’) at 470 Candler Park Drive, Atlanta GA 30307. Times: 2:30 to 5:30 pm

At WaltzPlay, we include many styles and variations from the many dancers, and we encourage everyone to dance with many different partners in order to experience the different styles that each person brings. We concentrate less on the steps and sequences, and more on the connections, our partners, and the expression of what we hear in the music. We have lots of fun.
• You need shoes – comfortable and with leather or slippery soles.
• You can dress casual to fancy, for the occasion, or wear jeans
• You don’t need a partner
• Learn to dance if you don’t already know how
