We’ve got Waltz in a group that is more FUN than formal!!

# NEXT DANCE April 5, 2026

However your Easter Sunday unfolds.... come share a few waltzes with friends

Join us for Cross-Step Waltz & Mixer lesson @ 2:30 – 3:30

Dancing 3:30 to 5:30

We dance “social waltz”, which is not as formal as conventional ballroom waltz, although most of what we teach is applicable in all dancing. Here is an example of social waltz: Cross-Step Waltz (with Richard Powers & Angela Amarillas)
We dance the first Sunday of every month, at First Existentialist Congregation of Atlanta (affectionally known as ‘The E-Church’) at 470 Candler Park Drive, Atlanta GA 30307. Times: 2:30 to 5:30 pm

$10 Per Person — cash or check only

Please Bring Your Own Water to Drink

At WaltzPlay, you can expect plenty of social waltz (our home base), along with a mix of foxtrot, swing, tango, rumba, and cha cha — all woven together in that easy WaltzPlay flow. No pressure, no performance, just shared steps and good music. YOU CAN HEAR WHAT OUR MUSIC SOUNDS LIKE AT THE LINKS ABOVE.

We include many styles and variations from the many dancers, and we encourage everyone to dance with many different partners in order to experience the different styles that each person brings. We concentrate less on the steps and sequences, and more on the connections, our partners, and the expression of what we hear in the music. We have lots of fun.

You need shoes – comfortable and with leather or slippery soles.
• You can dress casual to fancy, for the occasion, or wear jeans
• You don’t need a partner
• Learn to dance if you don’t already know how
• Improve your technique
