Mowing and Tree Clearing at Game Lands 285

Reports are that there are five or six trees down across the trail at Game Lands 285 in PA so we'll head there on Monday, May 12th to get those cleared off. The plan is to meet at Watt's Mill (at the bottom of Watt's Mill Rd. near the Little Beaver Creek) at noon and, with enough crew, split up and tackle the different sections of this three mile (or so) piece of NCT. I'll bring the mower and a saw and plan to run from mile PA 3 up to Booth Hill and back. If someone else shows up with a saw they can walk the mile between PA 4 and PA 3 clearing anything down across the pathway.

All help is appreciated. Definitely bring drinking water as the day is forcasted to be warm and this could turn into an entire afternoon project, depending upon what we run into out there. If the mower is going the whole way to Booth Hill, we'll plan on mowing the trail across the top of it while we're out there.
