Scarecrow building in Wampum

The Wampum Chapter is participating in Wampum annual main street business scarecrow contest.
I can use some help stuffing and setting up a hiker scarecrow similar to those pictured.

straw
hiking stick
wire hangers

items I could use (You can have them back, but keep in mind this will be outside in the weather for over a month)

Old newspapers
pants
backpack
boots
coat or jacket
new ideas
