High Water Route Survey At Eckert Bridge

A couple of years ago we had a section of the Gorge Trail/NCT wash out from high water and a temporary workaround was built - plans are being worked on to reestablish the original pathway later on this season. However, Joe Hardisky is proposing a high-water route be constructed above the washout area so we're heading to the Eckert Bridge area on Monday, April 13th to do some planning for that project. If you'd like to join us for this exploration you are welcome, meeting at the parking lot on Cheeseman Rd. at 1:00 PM.
We'll be out for an hour or so, and doing some hillside scrambling to figure this out. All input is appreciated. Dress for the weather and bring drinking water and a snack if you'd like.
