Let's get back to it, the sun is out and summer is coming. Join us for a great hike, at one of the most beautiful trails on the coast.
Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve. Fun Fact ~The
Coast redwoods are the tallest trees in the world, growing up to 380 feet tall. Most trees at Purisima Creek Redwoods Preserve are about 100 years old. We will begin on North Ridge Trail, to Whittemore Gulch, to Purisima Creek Trail and come back up Craig Britton Trail. This is approx 8 mile hike with 1800 elevation, rated Moderate. We will stop at Purisima Creek Trail to enjoy a break, snack and then continue on. This is one of my favorite trails, beautiful, peaceful and full of adventure. We will set the pace so everyone is comfortable and there is plenty of space to be with the crowd and have a few quiet moments to yourself as you take in the views. See you on the Trail!
