Slow City Walk & Photo Walk Through Old Xiguan

🕰️ Activity Description:
Let’s take a relaxed walk through Old Xiguan, one of Guangzhou’s most historic neighborhoods, and experience the charm of traditional Lingnan culture and Xiguan mansions (Xiguan Dawu).

We will stroll through the old streets of Liwan at an easy pace. The route is flexible — we can follow a suggested path or turn into any small alley that catches our interest. Feel free to pause, explore, take photos, or simply enjoy the atmosphere.

Along the way, we may discover local time-honored dessert shops (old-style sugar water / tong sui) hidden on street corners — a perfect chance to taste something truly local.

We will also visit the Liwan District Museum, where we can step inside a traditional Xiguan mansion and learn about its interior layout, architectural features, and how people lived there in the past.
