Explore Chinatown & Its Hidden Corners with Hannie
Meeting Point : MRT Wat Mangkon
Let’s wander together through the lively streets of Bangkok’s Chinatown, where every corner has a story to tell.
We’ll start our walk with a cup of traditional Chinese tea, taste an old-style fish maw soup, and stop by a local pastry shop that’s been making famous mooncakes for generations.
Then we’ll visit a small nostalgic museum that takes you back in time and of course, we’ll cool off with a bowl of classic Lod Chong dessert, a true local favorite. Along the way, I’ll share stories, legends, and little secrets of this colorful neighborhood.
We’ll cross to the other side of Chinatown to try the city’s most beloved toasted bread, crunchy outside, soft inside, and absolutely worth the wait!
After that, let’s hop on a tuk-tuk ride to Talad Noi, one of Bangkok’s most charming old communities. Here we’ll taste the crispiest coconut pancakes, explore hidden lanes, and enjoy the street art that tells the stories of the locals.
Our last stop will be Soi Song Wat, a cool photogenic street perfect for pictures. If you still have room for more, I’ll take you to try the legendary “Guay Tiew Roo” noodles, one of the city’s secret foodie spots before heading back to MRT Wat Mangkon.
This experience is for those who love wandering like a local, tasting, chatting, taking photos, and discovering the everyday beauty of old Bangkok.
