Sunday 20th July 9.30am. Trentishoe - Holdstone Down - Combe Martin Walk
An exhilarating, longer distance, hilly walk along the north Devon and Exmoor coastline enjoying beautiful high-level views of the ocean and surrounding countryside. Starting at Trentishoe and taking the coast path to reach Holdstone Down and then descending into Combe Martin. The last section is back along the coast path from Heddons Mouth taking in some lovely views. This walk will include a stop for lunch - please bring snacks and drinks.
This is a challenging longer distance walk - you will need to have a good level of fitness and be comfortable walking hilly terrain at a moderate pace.

Meet at car parking area between Holdstone Down and South Dean farm at 9.30am.

Grade: Challenging
Terrain: Public footpaths, coast path, bridleways and countryside lanes. Footpaths be wet and muddy in damp weather. Some sections of footpaths uneven with loose surface stone. Shallow water flowing down one path. Many sections of steep ascent/ descent. Livestock in fields.
Toilets: Next to Combe Martin car park on the walk route.
Parking: Car parking area between Holdstone Down and South Dean farm (free)
Please wear weather/ ground conditions appropriate clothing/ footwear and bring snacks/drinks/ packed lunch.
