Sunday 16th November 10am. Bossington - Selworthy - Bury Castle Woodland & Coast Autumn Walk
A hilly walk along the coast and through ancient woodland surrounding the villages of Bossington and Selworthy. Starting in Bossington and following the coast path then ascending Bossington Hill via Hurlestone Combe. Then descending through woodland to Allerford before taking a bridleway to reach Selworthy. Then climbing through Holmicote Combe to reach Bury Castle and Selworthy Beacon. Descending via the coast path to Hurlstone Point and then return to Bossington. This walk will include a stop for lunch - please bring snacks and drinks.

Meet at Bossington National Trust Car Park at 10am.
Start/ Finish: Bossington National Trust Car Park TA24 8HF
Distance: 8.6 miles (13.8 km)
Route type: Circular.
Grade: Challenging.
Terrain: Public footpaths, bridleways, coast path and countryside roads. Footpaths be wet and muddy in damp weather. Many sections of steep ascent/ descent.
Toilets: Bossington Car Park
Parking: Bossington National Trust Car Park. National Trust members free. Non National Trust members £5 all day.
Please wear weather/ ground conditions appropriate clothing/ footwear and bring snacks/drinks/ packed lunch.
