A beautiful countryside and woodland walk through the river Little Dart valley and Eggesford Forest from the village of Chulmleigh. Starting in Chulmleigh and taking footpaths to reach the river Dart. Then following footpaths to cross countryside to reach Eggesford Forest, then taking countryside lanes and footpaths along the valley to return to Chulmleigh.

Meet at the entrance to St Mary Magdalene Church at 10am.

Grade: Moderate
Terrain: Public footpaths, woodland trails, bridlepaths and countryside lanes. Can be very muddy in places in wet weather particularly along the river valley sections. Several stiles. Some ascent/ descent. Livestock in fields.
Toilets: In the Square by the church.
Parking: Kings Park Car Park EX18 7BW (free) or East Street Car Park EX18 7DF (free) or various on street unrestricted parking please park considerately.

Please wear weather/ ground conditions appropriate clothing/ footwear and bring snacks/drinks.
