A beautiful countryside and woodland walk through the river Little Dart valley, Eggesford Forest and villages of Chulmleigh and Chawleigh. Starting in Chulmleigh and taking footpaths to reach Eggesford Forest. Then following footpaths to leave the forest and cross countryside to reach Chawleigh, before descending into the Little Dart valley and taking countryside lanes and footpaths along the valley to return to Chulmleigh.

Meet at the entrance to St Mary Magdalene Church at 10am.

Terrain: Public footpaths, woodland trails, bridlepaths and countryside lanes. Can be very muddy in places in wet weather particularly along the river valley sections. Some ascent/ descent.
Toilets: In the Square by the church.
Parking: Kings Park Car Park EX18 7BW (free) or East Street Car Park EX18 7DF (free) or various on street unrestricted parking please park considerately.

Please wear weather/ ground conditions appropriate clothing/ footwear and bring snacks/drinks.
