Start you New year with a Saturday stroll where 2 rivers meet and go out to sea! A gentle, slower paced walk starting at Instow and heading along the Tarka Trail to Yelland and then taking the coast path past Isley Marsh Nature Reserve. Heading back to Instow along the coast path enjoying beautiful views of the Taw / Torridge Estuary and Appledore. Option to return along the beach and stay for coffee at Johns at the end of the walk.

Meet at the Instow Signal Box (Tarka Trail) at 10am.

Grade: Easy
Terrain: Coast path, footpaths and Tarka Trail. Mostly even and flat. Some muddy patches in wet weather. Soft sand can be strenuous to walk on.
Toilets: Next to Marine Parade car park Instow.
Parking: Various Instow car parking (please check individual sites for restrictions and charges).

Please wear weather/ ground conditions appropriate clothing/ footwear and bring a packed lunch/ snacks/ drinks.
