Appledore Riverside Ramble

A gentle walk along the river Torridge estuary and around the pretty village of Appledore. Walking from Appledore through the picturesque village streets to join the southwest coast path walking along the banks of the river Torridge and then taking footpaths and lanes to climb to the top of the village, enjoying beautiful far-reaching views, before returning to the car park through the village streets. Option to stay for coffee at the Coffee Cabin at the end of the walk.

Meet at the Appledore Churchfields Car Park at 10am.

Terrain: Public footpaths, coast path and tarmac road. Fairly even underfoot, with a few wet and muddy patches in damp weather. Some small stretches of ascent/ descent.

Parking: Appledore Churchfields car park £1.20 an hour.
