Fremington Quay – Penhill Walk

A gentle walk along the Tarka Trail and countryside footpaths from Fremington Quay enjoying beautiful river and countryside views. Starting at Fremington Quay and walking to Penhill and Muddlebridge, then following the Tarka Trail and countryside footpaths to reach Penhill Point before returning to Fremington Quay along the beach. Option to stay for coffee at Fremington Quay Cafe after the walk.

Meet at the Fremington Quay Car Park at 10am.

Terrain: Public footpaths, tarka trail and tarmac road. Fairly even underfoot. Beach section pebbly/ sandy. Lanes can be very waterlogged/ muddy in wet weather. Some small stretches of ascent/ descent.
