Torrington Commons and Tarka Trail

A gentle walk around Torrington Commons returning along the Traka Trail. Starting at the Puffing Billy and following footpaths through woodland along a valley to reach the road then climbing to walk through Torrington Golf course to Furzebeam Hill then descending to return along the Tarka Trail. Option to stay for coffee/ drinks at the end of the walk at the Puffing Billy.

Terrain: Tarmac roads, footpaths and Tarka Trail. Some stretches of ascent/ descent. Can be wet and muddy patches in places.
Toilets: None (nearest toilets located at Torrington Commons Car Park 5 minutes drive from Puffing Billy)
Parking: Puffing Billy Car Park (free). Please park considerately and not in Torrington Cycle Hire car park.

Please wear weather/ ground conditions appropriate clothing/ footwear and bring a snacks/ drinks.
