The first in our series of summer evening walks- celebrate the return of lighter nights with a walk around Northam Burrows enjoying beautiful coastal and river estuary views. Starting at Sandymere car park and walking around the edge of the golf course towards Grey Sands. Then following the road to reach the bridge near the exit before heading across the burrows to join the road back to Sandymere car park.
Meet at Northam Burrows Sandymere car park at 6.30pm.

Distance: 4.5 miles (7.2km)
Route type: Circular
Grade: Moderate
Terrain: Public footpaths, coast path and tarmac road. Wet and muddy patches/ waterlogged grass in damp weather. Some gentle ascent/ descent. Walking on soft sand can be strenuous.
Toilets: Westward Ho! Slipway (5 minutes drive from walk start point).
Parking: Sandymere Car Park, Northam Burrows
Please wear weather/ ground conditions appropriate clothing/ footwear and bring snacks/ drinks.
