A summer evening walk around Castle Hill and Torrington Commons enjoying beautiful countryside views. Starting at South Street car park and following footpaths to descend over Castle Hill to the river Torridge following the path to reach Mill St. Then following footpaths to climb to the Old Bowling Green descending over the Commons, then returning to the car park via the town centre.
Meet at the Torrington South Street car park at 6.30pm.

Grade: Moderate
Terrain: Public footpaths, bridleways and tarmac pavement/ lanes. Muddy patches in damp weather. Rocky, uneven surface in places. Some ascent/ descent.
Toilets: Old Bowling Green, Pannier Market and South Street car park.
Parking: Torrington South Street Car Park (free after 6pm)
Please wear weather/ ground conditions appropriate clothing/ footwear and bring drinks.
