A beautiful walk along the river Taw and through countryside and woodland surrounding the village of Umberleigh. Starting at Umberleigh station and taking footpaths following the banks of the river Taw then across countryside to reach Whey Farm. Next taking countryside lanes to Eastacott Cross then descending through Pitt Wood and returning to the car park.
Meet at Umberleigh Station car park at 10am.

Terrain: Public footpaths, tarmac roads and woodland trails. Footpaths can be muddy in places. Stretches of ascent/ descent. Stiles.
