A gentle riverside walk following the river Torridge from Bideford. Starting at Bideford Long Bridge and following the coast path along the river to reach Cleave Quay and then Hyde Barton. Then taking footpaths and roads to loop up the hill and back towards Bideford, re-joining the coast path for the final section. Option to stay for coffee at Quay 22 on Bideford Quay at the end of the walk.
Meet at Entrance to Victoria Park Bideford at 10am.

Distance: 3.8 miles (6.1km)
Route type: Out and back with a circular loop at the midway point.
Grade: Moderate
Terrain: Footpaths can be muddy in wet weather. Coast path, footpaths and tarmac road. Some ascent/ descent. Footpaths uneven in places.
Toilets: Bideford Quay and Victoria Park.
Parking: Numerous car parks available in Bideford town centre – please check individual sites for restrictions and charges.
Please wear weather/ ground conditions appropriate clothing/ footwear and bring snacks/drinks.
