Group Guitar Night: Learn Your First Song

This is a beginner-friendly group guitar lesson designed to help you play your first full song—even if you've never picked up a guitar before. We'll break it down step by step, laugh through the mistakes, and celebrate the progress.

This month we'll be reviewing Last Kiss (from our previous session) and then learning The Middle by Jimmy Eat World. These are simple, emotional songs that are great for beginners to strum and sing along to. Bring your acoustic guitar (or electric with a small amp) and an open mind. We'll finish by jamming together and maybe even making plans to form mini bands as we grow. Afterward, you're invited to join us for food, ice cream and conversation at a great local eatery called Hook & Ladder!

Meeting Spot: Meet in community room A.

• After entering, walk up to the main desk . Community Room A is to the left, down a small hallway that passes the restrooms. Look for a guy with a guitar and a slightly chaotic notebook.
