What we’re about
This group is operated by Purple Hood Adventures, a small travel and lifestyle entrepreneurship begun by Cincinnati-native, female wanderluster, creative blogger, podcaster, Kilimanjaro conqueror and world travel junkie, Marie Elena! We meet both virtually and physically around the country to discuss anything and everything travel and building a life of travel by becoming location and financially independent by doing what we LOVE every day as we roam the planet. Purple Hood Adventures is not just about helping you travel but also sustaining this life you love most! Most of our events include resources and information, a chance to connect with other creatives and travelers, trivia and even prizes! I also host experiences and retreats! The group is all-inclusive, from beginning travelers, aspiring creatives, seasoned nomads, to those just wanting to travel more and everyone in between. Cheers!

Small Group Trip Through Morocco 2026

If you missed the last couple of chances, here's chance to join our small group trip to and through Morocco! To see complete details and to reserve your spot while you can, please do so here. The registration deadline is December 31st, 2025. Slots fill quickly and it is first come, first serve.
This trip is for 13 days from March 22 to April 3 2026. We will explore Morocco's most vibrant and famous cities as well as ancient villages, temples, walled towns, cultural establishments, the great Sahara desert, the Atlas mountain region and much MORE.
Some Highlights of our 12 Day Adventure Include:
*Exploring vibrant cities of Fez, Marrakech, Rabat, Casablanca and Chefchaouen (the "blue city")
*Marrakesh cultural tour and dinner show
*Local "Berber" performances and folklore
*Resort Stays + luxury camping in the Sahara
*Campfire dinner and sunset camel ride
*Panoramic views and hikes in the midst of natural wonders
