🥾 Fun Easy 5K Hike & 🧗‍♂️ Klettersteig (Via Ferrata) Adventure

Ready for a fun and easy hike mixed with a bit of leisure climbing? ✨
We're heading to the Mittelrhein Klettersteig — a scenic loop trail in Boppard, featuring an easy Via Ferrata (difficulty level A/B) and approx. 300m elevation gain ⛰️. The full route will take around 2–3 hours at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to enjoy the stunning views along the Rhine riverside 🌊🌿.
✅ Requirements: A head for heights (Schwindelfreiheit) 😅 and a spirit of adventure 🚀

🎒 What to Bring:
• A bit of fitness for an easy climb 💪
• A good mood (bad jokes welcome 😄)
• Weather-appropriate clothing (🌦️ light rain expected on Saturday)
• Solid hiking shoes 🥾
• Snacks and water for the trail 🥙🚰
• Some cash 💶 in case we grab a bite after the hike

WHAT IS KLETTERSTEIG🤔❓
Here's what it is:
Klettersteig is the German term for Via Ferrata, which translates to "iron path" in Italian.
A Klettersteig/Via Ferrata is a secured climbing route that allows hikers to traverse rock faces and steep terrain using:
• Steel cables (to clip into with a harness)
• Metal rungs or ladders
• Steps and handholds built into the rock
It’s like a blend between hiking and climbing—no technical climbing skills are required, but a head for heights, basic fitness, and safety gear (like a helmet, harness, and via ferrata set) are usually necessary.

Climbing equipment is available for rent on-site (approx. €8–10). Please confirm your attendance in advance.
