Kumbh Mela at Nasik

Kumbh Mela is being held at Nasik from 22 Aug15 to 25 Sep15. Trimbakeshwar is a holy town that houses one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. It also is the origin of the river Godavari and is situated 38 kms away from Nasik. The Sinhasta Kumbh Mela is held once in 12 years in Trimbakeshwar, Nasik. A ritual bath at a predetermined time and place is the major event of the festival.

Tentative Itinerary

17 Sep 15: Meet at Mumbai airport. Transfer from Mumbai to Nasik by cab

18 Sep 15: Holy Dip in river Godavari (Shahi Snan date). Visit Triambakeshwar temple. Participate in Havan/Pooja at camp site

19 Sep 15: Visit to the Mela grounds. Participate in Havan/Pooja at camp site

20 Sep 15: Return transfer from Nasik to Mumbai by cab. Start your onward journey to Bangalore.

Package Cost: Rs. 18500/- per person Ex-Mumbai
