We’re going again! Join us for the 10th annual Thunder on the Prairies truck and tractor pulling event on July 4th in Odessa Sk, located 65 km south-east of Regina. This event brings serious competitors from all over Western Canada and the northern US and delivers plenty of excitement for anyone who enjoys a good motorsports competition. It has consistently drawn around 2000 spectators.
Newcomers may wonder if there’s going to be a cash bar. Yes! You’re free to enjoy your tasty beverage anywhere on the grounds. Not only that, but they’ll deliver cold beer right to your lawn chair by golf cart. Will there be good food available? Also, yes! The concession stand will be selling their “world-famous” rink burgers, and there will be food trucks on site. Will there be entertainment after the event? Double yes! Fireworks will be set off right after the final competitor (around 10:30). Then Tequila Mockingbird hits the stage!
Bring a lawn chair and a blanket in case the evening gets chilly.
Earplugs are available with your admission.
We’ll meet around 4 pm at the old Peavey Mart location and leave Regina at 4:30.
We’ll carpool. It’s about a 40-minute drive. I will be taking my vehicle.
Entry fee for adults $25.
