This sign up is for the draft or if you just want to come for supper and see what all the fuss is about!
HEY NEWBIES have you ever wanted to participate in a Hockey Pool Draft? No experience is necessary!
So guys and especially gals, join us for fun, food and chirping!
Last year's regular season stats and general draft pick tips will be provided at the event. So Newbies, you won't be overwhelmed with this fun and easy selection process.
Newbies can ask for any guidance instruction to assist in making their selections. Guidance will be based on what the professional NHL Insiders are saying.
You will be able to view all of the picks on a large screen TV in their private meeting room. It will be easy, peasey!
We have a reservation for 5:30 pm and at that time the draft order will be determined. Those wanting to order supper will have the opportunity to do so. The drafting process will continue while we are eating.
If you just want to come out for supper and or meet new people, then you can also sign up.
The cost is $20 per team entry. You can pair up with someone if you want to share a team. Please notify me if you are sharing a team with someone else.
Once the draft has been completed, I will post all of our draft teams in an Online Hockey Pool for you to view. I will need your email address and special Team Name to do this. You will then be able to see where you are in the standings compared to the other teams.
REMEMBER NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY, BECAUSE THIS EXPERIENCE IS FOR YOU TO REMEMBER!
Your draft team will consist of at least 15 to 19 skaters and 1 goalie. The goalies can be drafted at anytime. Additionally, 1 sleeper pick in any playing position will be secretly chosen before the draft begins.
Based on 10 teams entered, approximate winnings and percentages are as follows:
1st Place gets 100 or 50%
2nd Place gets 50 or 25%
3rd Place gets 30 or 15%
4th Place gets 20 or 10%
This will be adjusted accordingly to actual number of teams entered and any minor admin costs.
